decision to use notion

  • reference webflow + ghost and wishing for this
  • at the end of the day, I prioritized the functionality of the CMS / Editor experience over the developer experience, since I had to hand-code the whole thing. I could have built this 10x faster and done some extra cool designs, but then I would have been stuck pasting rich text into some shistey CMS.
  • can drop comments right in the living document, not shown live, but reminders of what to edit and suggestions from others
